At the San Rafael Street Fair I took this image of the
artist's hand working on this portrait of an Indian. I was
on a small ladder overlooking his shoulder. The way the
artist is holding the chalk is part of the image that supports
the actual art work. To me, his hands appear to be readying
to put more yellow chalk on the painting.
