Flowers for the Vietnamese Maiden

In 2003, at the annual San Rafael Street Fair, this older man was carrying these flowers with him. I asked him to place the flowers as a foreground piece, with the street painting of the girl, in the background.

World class street artist from all over the country and the world come to demonstrate their art here. The San Rafael Street fair is held over a summer weekend, and by 3 AM on Monday, the beautiful works of art are removed by the street cleaners. They recorded with photography and in our memories.
