Bald Eagles Feeding their Eaglets.

This image was taken on a recent trip to the Sanibel area of Florida. These beautiful birds were in a very urban area with homes quite close. The tree in which they were located was isolated from the houses. No one is permitted more than 50 yards from them. The blood on the beak of the adult is easily seen. This was a fresh kill for the young eaglets. The other parent is preening itself..
